A poll taken by Auburn University found that 68 percent of those questioned support a state lottery and 60 percent back video gaming for education funding.
The 68 percent total was two points higher than when the questions were asked in 2005. The last time the video game question was asked, 61 percent favored it.
The Ask Alabama survey results are based on telephone interviews conducted with a stratified random sample of 614 adult householders from jan. 4-14 of 2010.
