Amazing Race Season 16 results: Jody and Shannon eliminated; Jet and Cord get first place

Jody and Shannon, the granddaughter/grandmother team in Season 16 of the Amazing Race, were eliminated in the season’s second episode on Sunday night.

The teams had a variety of tasks, including milking cows and handling llamas. Detectives Louie and Michael almost got last place after driving past a destination, but they turned out to be faster than Jody and Shannon.

Jet and Cord, the cowboy/brother team, took first place in this episode. They got third place in the first episode of the season.

Jordan and Jeff, the “Big Brother” alums who got first place last week, fell into sixth place on Sunday.

In the second leg of the “race,” the teams went from Valparaíso to Puerto Varas, both in the country of Chile. Next week, they’re expected to go to Argentina.
