Musicians from Psycho DeVilles bring rockabilly to downtown Columbus

Get ready for a retro party when rockabilly music invades Columbus nightlife Saturday night.

The Atlanta-based musicians from Psycho DeVilles perform at The Roadhouse on Broadway.

The three-member act includes instruments like guitar, drums and upright bass.

They specialize in rockabilly, a style that rose to prominence in the ’50s.

It combines genres like traditional country, Western swing and rhythm and blues.

Rockabilly saw a recent resurgence with the 2005 Johnny Cash flick, “Walk the Line.”

The guys from Psycho DeVilles have shared the stage with acts like Slim Jim Phantom from the Stray Cats, as well as Reverend Horton Heat.
