After having come in close to last for the first three legs of the race, detectives Louie and Michael were the first team in the fourth leg of the Amazing Race Sunday night.
Dad and daughter team Steve and Allie came in second. Jordan and Jeff came in last.
The episode began with the remaining teams leaving South America for Hamburg, Germany, where two teams had to work together and bungee jump in the middle of the city.
The teams then split up again, completing a series of tasks involving hitting targets in to a soccer, or “football,” goal, drinking a “boot” of beer to get the next clue, downing a full plate of sauerkraut before a song ended and racing to the Indra Bar — the first spot in Hamburg where the Beatles performed.
Louie and Michael each took a $5,000 gift card, which they can use after the race.
Next week, the teams are expected to travel to France.
