Town hall meeting to discuss underage drinking planned for March 22

LAGRANGE, Ga. — The Troup County Prevention Coalition and Twin Cedars are hosting a town hall meeting about preventing underage drinking.

The event is seeking to raise community awareness on the issue and identify how underage drinking impacts the community. The meeting will also serve as a brainstorming opportunity to identify potential solutions to underage drinking.

The meeting will be held March 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Lafayette Garden Inn and Conference Center, located at 1513 Lafayette Parkway.

The event will include refreshments, door prizes and several guest speakers. Confirmed speakers include: Judge Jeanette Little, Captain Mike Pheil, Pastor Ricky Bolden, Jayne Pauley, Jane Gannon and Kenneth Genova.
