Peggy Jenkins will sing at Georgia Music Hall of Fame

I've known Peggy Jenkins for many, many years. She's one of the best singers to come out of Columbus, and there have been plenty of talented people. She's got a band now, the Bizness, and they're going to sing at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in April.

The Georgia Music Hall of Fame's signature concert series, Live at Five, returns every Tuesday in April.

Peggy and her band, and blues singer Marshall Ruffin will perform 5-8 p.m. April 20.

Here's the rest of the schedule:

April 6: EKC Quartet and EG Kight.

April 13: Burnt Bacon.

April 20: Peggy Jenkins & the Bizness and Marshall Ruffin.

April 27: Matthew Kaminsky Organ Trio and Gwen Hughes.

The concerts are inside the museum's main exhibit hall, 200 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. It's for all ages.

Tickets are $10.
