Lillian Dion Burkett pleaded not guilty to arson and criminal damage charges in Muscogee County Recorder’s Court Thursday morning.

Burkett is one of three suspects implicated in a fire at River Road Pharmacy in September, along with Bobby Jo Burkett and Michael Lowery.

Burkett was charged with first degree arson, conspiracy to commit arson, second-degree criminal damage to property, battery with physical harm, no state insurance, no state license plate and contempt of court.

Bond was set at $25,000 for the arson charge, $10,000 for the conspiracy to commit arson charge and $5,000 for the criminal damage to property charge. The battery charge was dropped because police could not contact the victim. The no state insurance, no state license plate and contempt of court charges were not heard Thursday morning.
