An underwater photo taken near the Caribbean island of Aruba that shows what appears to be a human skeleton has been turned over to federal investigators, a Pennsylvania newspaper is reporting.
The photo, taken by Patti Muldowney, gave the woman’s husband a “gut feeling” that what appears to be a skeleton could be that of Natalee Holloway, the Mountain Brook, Ala., student who disappeared some five years ago, the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era states.
The picture, taken in the fall, has been given to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
