Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre in Columbus, a nondenominational church, is sponsoring the 4th Annual City-Wide Easter Resurrection Service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Columbus Civic Center, 400 Fourth St. Doors open at 10 a.m.
It’s among the many services and events being held over the weekend, culminating with Easter, the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.
“We know that people will be touched like never before this year,” said Bishop Marshall McGill, pastor of Kingdom Metropolitan on Airport Thruway. “We’ve been anticipating this service for months, and it’s finally here. We are expecting life-changing experiences to include healing, restoration and a refreshing of mind, soul, and spirit.”
Guests include Steve Brock, a pastor and soloist featured in global “miracle crusades” with Pastor Benny Hinn — one of the world’s most financially successful faith healers. Brock is based in Atlanta, operating Steve Brock Ministries.
Gospel singer Micah Stampley will also help lead worship.
