The Amazing Race 2010 results: Who got eliminated on April 11?

Brothers Dan and Jordan took first place in the ninth leg of the Amazing Race on April 11.

Couple Carol and Brandy got last place and were eliminated.

The teams traveled from Malaysia to Singapore by train, racing to the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall to find Allan Wu, host of The Amazing Race Asia. Wu was sitting casually outside the building reading a newspaper, handing over the next clue when a team asked his identity.

Competitors then had some choices — learning a series of drum beats and then performing the sequence on stage; setting up an ice cream stand and selling ice cream sandwiches; or skipping the entire leg by taking a massive Ferris wheel some 540 feet in the air and crawling from one car to the next.

Dan and Jordan chose the Ferris wheel, a fast forward that gave them the clue to the leg’s pit stop. After both scuttled across the top of the wheel, they took a boat to the Marina Barrage and took first place. The top spot also came with motorbikes for each.

Meanwhile, the other teams tried to learn the sequence on the drums. Detectives Louie and Michael ultimately opted for selling ice cream, scoring a little help from their cab driver who picked up the last 10 sandwiches they needed to sell.

Dating models Brent and Caite completed their performance on stage with the drums, pushing them ahead of Carol and Brandy — a team they despise. Once they reached a U-turn, which lets a team force another team to complete an additional task, they chose Carol and Brandy before heading off to count all 521 links in a huge metal chain.

After the chain, the teams had to take the MegaZip zip line before getting the clue that led them to the pit stop.

In the next leg, the teams are expected to travel to China.
