Olympic ice skating champion Evan Lysacek, ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews and Pussycat Dolls' singer Nicole Scherzinger will compete in the final week of competition on "Dancing with the Stars" tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC. The final two-hour episode of season 10 will air Tuesday at 9 p.m. when one celebrity and his or her professional dance partner will win the coveted mirror-ball trophy. At 8 p.m. Tuesday the final round of competition will air again.
Here's a recap of how the final three did on last week's semi-final round of competition:
Evan Lysacek and singer Nicole Scherzinger received the most judges' points with 59 out of 60 each. Sportscaster Erin Andrews earned 56.
Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya earned a perfect 30 for their paso doble.
Bruno Tonioli, 10: "Strong yet artistic. Plenty of attack. Best elevation we've seen in a paso doble this season... You've got balls."
Carrie Ann Inaba, 10: "Powerful... I loved it."
Len Goodman, 10: "The paso doble is the man's dance. The man should dominate. And it's so difficult for a celebrity guy to dominate these professionals and you did it."
Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough earned 29 points for the Cha Cha Cha to "Kiss" from Prince.
Carrie Ann Inaba, 10: "It (looks like it) all comes so naturally from you but I know it doesn't. I know these styles are not natural for anyone on this show."
Len Goodman, 9: "I didn't think it showed off a lot of Cha Cha Cha... We're looking for who should get into the finals next week and you've got to be there."
Bruno Tonioli, 10: "You are the sexylicious purple queen of the Cha Cha Cha."
Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy earned 29 points for their paso doble.
Bruno Tonioli, 10: "You are a hot chick with an attitude. Tonight has turned into a feast."
Carrie Ann Inaba, 10: "That was amazing. You're finally into your power."
Len Goodman, 9: "This is a funky-monkey paso doble... I don't know."
Here's what happened in round one:
Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough earned a perfect score of 30 judges' points for their Argentine Tango despite Derek's injured neck.
Bruno Tonioli, 10: "You were like a divine enchantress using each move to draw us deeper and deeper and deeper into a love spell from which there is no escape. Enslaved by you. Enchanted by the dance."
Carrie Ann Inaba, 10: "You took Bruno somewhere else but you brought me to tears... You are so amazing." Carrie's voice cracked as she uttered her heart-felt statement.
Len Goodman, 10: "This is the best compliment I ever can give. It was more delicious than my grandmother's apple pie."
Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy earned 27 points. Proving the show is "live," Bruno accidentally held up his 10 paddle when asked to show his score. He quickly replaced it with the 9 paddle, but not before Maks and Erin got excited and were then crushed.
Len Goodman, 9: "You just made a giant leap through the door (to next week's finals). Well done."
Bruno Tonioli, 9: "You have improved so much from the beginning. Wonderful."
Carrie Ann Inaba, 9: "Each week I do see you grow and that's what this show is about."
Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya earned 28 points for their foxtrot.
Carrie Ann Inaba, 10: "You were completely dancing for us. Completely aware of us. Entertaining us. Thank you."
Len Goodman, 9: "We saw a complete different side, the happy-go-luck, fun side and I thought that was absolutely wonderful."
Bruno Tonioli, 10: "I didn't know you had it within you. That vivacity and that vitality. I haven't seen something like that since Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney." Host Tom Bergeron joked that Bruno hadn't seen that kinkd of enthusiasm since he looked in the mirror. Bruno laughed so hard he couldn't continue his statement.
