CSU's Jason Rogers drafted in 32nd round by Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers selected Columbus State first baseman Jason Rogers in the 32nd round and with the 969th overall pick on Wednesday, the third and final day of the MLB draft.


Rogers, a first-team Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association All-American, tied a team and Peach Belt Conference record in 2010 with 26 home runs. He added 46 extra-base hits and 86 RBIs for the Cougars.
