Community Spouses' Club of Fort Benning will host informational event

The Community Spouses' Club of Fort Benning is hosting its annual Community Welcome and Sign Up event Aug. 19, which will allow local groups to provide information about various opportunities in the area to the Fort Benning community.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. at the Supper Club at the Benning Conference Center and is expected to wrap up at 6:30 p.m.

Organizations that wish to participate will be provided a table and chairs. There is no cost to religious groups, nonprofits, schools and PTO/PTA groups. Area businesses will be charged $25. Product sales are not permitted.

Groups may set up for the event from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. the day of the event.
