LaGrange’s Advent Lutheran Church has a new pastoral team

LaGrange's Advent Lutheran Church has a new pastoral team heading up the church. The Rev. MinChan Park and the Rev. Gerald Bultman will both be joining the church this month.

Park comes to the church from Norcross where he has led the Korean ministry at Messiah Lutheran Church since 2002. Park will begin an English as a second language program and Korean Culture School at the church.

Bultman and his wife Judy Bultman have retired to the West Georgia area, which is where Judy is from. Bultman said his partial return from retirement will give him an opportunity to “share the Gospel and the love of God.”

Both pastors will teach Bible studies and lead worship services.

The two new pastors will be installed at a special worship service where the Rev. Darrel Peterson, an assistant to the bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Southeastern Synod, will preside. The special service will beheld Aug. 22 at 4 p.m. with a reception following.
