UPDATE: Via Twitter, Teresa Giudice said she wrote a blog post addressing what Danielle Staub said about her nephew. That comment prompted Teresa to go crazy and physically lash out on Danielle. The blog post isn't up yet.
UPDATE 2: Reunion host Andy Cohen has posted a blog entry on Bravo's website. He said he doesn't have an answer to questions about the nephew situation "beyond saying she didn't like Danielle speaking of her family."
UPDATE 3:> Teresa's blog post is up. Read what she said here.
It took just three minutes for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast to ignite a feud with Danielle Staub on Monday's reunion show with Andy Cohen.
While discussing New Jersey TV shows, Teresa Giudice said she didn't like the "Jersey Shore" crew because of their, um, casual relationships. Who else has casual romantic ties? Danielle Staub, according to Teresa.
That was at 10:03 p.m. By 10:09, the cast had a more serious screaming match when host Andy Cohen asked Danielle what she did to former cast member Dina Manzo.
Danielle stayed mum, but the other Housewives said Danielle tried to get Dina's daughter taken away from her. Danielle claimed her attorneys put a gag order on Dina because she was saying false things about Danielle.
At 10:12, things got out of control. Danielle asked Teresa why she didn't acknowledge her own nephew, which I didn't entirely understand. I can only assume she's referring to Jacqueline Laurita's son, but Teresa and Jacqueline aren't related by blood. During the show, some people on Twitter speculated Danielle was referring to Teresa's husband's rumored love child.
Teresa went crazy and screamed, "Do not bring up my family!" She lashed out physically at Danielle, shouted a stream of obscenities and pushed Andy Cohen away when he tried to intervene.
The show went to commercials, and when it returned, Danielle was backstage crying with her hairstylist and "partner." (Note: Is Danielle a lesbian or not?)
On the set, Caroline Manzo said Teresa only gets this crazy when Danielle is around. Andy remained shocked by Teresa's physical strength and he couldn't believe she doesn't work out.
By 10:18, Andy made Teresa promise not to get off the couch again. She agreed, and Danielle returned to the set.
Things were (kind of) calm until about 10:32, when Danielle suggested she dresses her dogs like Teresa dresses her kids. Caroline maintained her belief that Danielle's daughters lack bright expressions.
About 10 minutes later, the spotlight went back to Teresa, who vowed her home is not in foreclosure. She also vowed she's not in denial about her financial problems.
Then, Andy brought up Teresa's husband's DUI. Teresa maintained he got into the accident, then started drinking. Danielle disagreed, naturally.
At 10:49, Andy asked the question of the season: Is Danielle a victim or a villain?
Then, the group suggested that Danielle had an affair with her friend Danny and broke up his marriage.
At about 10:55, Andy asked Danielle my lesbian question. She skirted the issue and said she just spends a lot of time with her lesbian pal.
On another note, Danielle vowed almost everything was donated for her daughter's sweet 16 party.
Then, Andy discussed Danielle's, um, intimate video that's available online. She maintained she didn't have a hand in releasing it, while the other Housewives said it was clearly made by a third party. The topic ignited another screaming match between Teresa and Danielle.
Next, it was Caroline's time to fight with Danielle. She accused Danielle of being a bad parent, while Danielle maintained she does her best job to shield her daughters from the bad press.
In the show's final moments, Caroline and Danielle argued about the charity benefit featured this season.
Caroline's closing line? "Do not sit here and try to make a fool of me. I am looking at the fool."
Part two of the reunion will air 9 p.m. next Monday on Bravo. Get the inside scoop on the reunion by following Andy Cohen on Twitter.
