Thursday's episode of "Jersey Shore" on MTV focused on the growing tension between JWoww and Sammi. It culminated in a physical fight at the end of the show.
The conflict's cause? JWoww's failure to admit her involvement in writing an anonymous note to Sammi detailing Ronnie's infidelities.

When the episode kicks off, Snooki wants to cuddle with one of the roommates. She tests out all the guys' beds. Vinny's bed wins. And of course, Vinny and Snooki hook up. Snooki doesn't think things are awkward the next morning.
The girls hit the beach, sans Sammi. JWoww and Snooki worry Angelina told Sammi they wrote the anonymous note detailing Ronnie's infidelities.
Sammi consults The Situation about, well, the situation. He vows Ronnie is 100 percent wrong. "I'm done with it," Sammi says of her relationship with Ronnie.
Snooki wants to tell Sammi they wrote the letter. Angelina thinks it's a bad idea. JWoww agrees with Angelina. The Situation thinks it's all hilarious. JWoww asks Angelina to ask Sammi to come outside and talk to the girls.
When Angelina approaches Sammi, she says JWoww should approach her on her own. Before long, JWoww is inside, fighting with Sammi. They exchange a string of obscenities.
The root of the conflict? "You should have told me you knew something as a friend," Sammi says.
Ronnie intervenes and says he was single when all this happened.
Sammi asks the whole group who wrote the note. Nobody answers.
The screaming resumes. "All I know is a lot happened to me and it's embarrassing," Sammi says. The crowd thins.
Ronnie checks on Sammi, but she says she needs to be alone.
Snooki wishes they wouldn't have written the letter. Sammi approaches JWoww and Snooki and says she's a "legit mess" because of the recent chain of events.
Once again, Ronnie asks Sammi if she's OK. She says no. "Everybody here is shady. You're shady," Sammi tells Ronnie. He decides to give her space and hope time brings them back together.
On a lighter note...
Vinny has a pain in his eye. He's worried he has pink eye again. Fortunately, he visits the eye doctor and learns it's not that extreme.
The gang hits a nightclub. Angelina hangs out with a guy named Jose, while The Situation goes home with a blond girl.
The girls cook dinner to fulfill a promise they made to the guys. Snooki calls one of her exes and asks for a recipe for penne alla vodka. She runs into a variety of obstacles, including not knowing how to spell "tomato." She also loses the list of ingredients while grocery shopping.
The guys are worried about the project. Vinny has a feeling they'll end up ordering Chinese food.
JWoww and Snooki return from grocery shopping. JWoww immediately gets mad that Sammi isn't helping out. JWoww asks Angelina and Sammi to go buy vodka. "I don't feel like doing that," Sammi says.
JWoww is mad that Snooki's the only one helping with the meal. Nonetheless, aside from a minor cooking fire, the meal turns out well.
But there's still drama. Sammi refuses to eat the food.
While talking to her boyfriend on the phone, JWoww says she doesn't think she and Sammi are friends anymore.
Sammi and Angelina bond. Sammi considers Angelina a friend in the house. "I want to tell you things, but I feel like I can't tell you things," Angelina says.
Nonetheless, she tells Sammi that JWoww and Snooki wrote the note.
More fighting
The Situation's sister comes over. Remember, she hooked up with Vinny in Jersey.
The gang hits a club. Vinny flirts with The Situation's sister. Meanwhile, The Situation meets a blond girl...who's actually a guy. Everybody seems to know this fact except The Situation.
"If you have to think about it...it is," the crew tells us. Eventually, The Situation realizes the truth.
In the night's other highlights, JWoww complains about Sammi and Angelina makes out with Pauly D. Turns out Pauly is really drunk.
When the gang gets home, JWoww calls her boyfriend. Angelina says something concerning JWoww talking about Pauly's drunkenness while on the phone. Then, Vinny's convinced Angelina's talking badly about JWoww.
As JWoww and Angelina fight, Sammi interrupts. The fight then goes from from JWoww/Angelina to JWoww/Sammi.
They curse at each other about the letter and scream, "I don't like you!"
Things get physical just as the show ends. JWoww and Sammi push each other and Sammi ends up on the ground at one point. Everything will be resolved next week.
Yeah, right.
