Defense contractors Omega Training Division and Dynamics Research Corp. — both looking to land federal contracts — are holding a job fair Wednesday to find prospective employees for when the new business arrives.

The “Future Job Fair,” as the event is being billed, will be 11:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. at Omega’s office (Building 2) at 7201 Moon Road in Columbus. Potential positions include technical writers, programmers, business system analysts, project leaders and program manager.

Those who attend are advised to bring resumes and be prepared to fill out a questionaire, with preliminary interviews possible.

Omega was founded in 1990 and is part of San Diego-based Cubic Corp. and its Cubic Applications Inc. subsidiary, while Andover, Mass.-based Dynamics, which goes by the initials, DRC, dates to 1955. Both do business with the federal government, offering analysis, training and various services, including the development of combat simulator systems for the military.
