Calvary Riders, the Phenix City/Columbus chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, will br riding to the Barnes Truck Stop in Cussetta, Ala., on Thursday night for dinner. Meet at the Burger King on Veterans Parkway at Northlake Drive. Kick stands up at 6:30 p.m.

Southern Cruisers will meet to eat and discuss upcoming rides and events at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mellow Mushroom on Veterans Parkway.

Pratt & Whitney is holding a United Way Poker Run on Saturday. It's for motorcycles, classic cars
and trucks. Best hand wins $150, worst hand win $50. There are other drawings for $50 gift certificates. It starts at Pratt & Whitney's facility on U.S. 80 on the east side of Columbus.

Registration starts at 9 am  (Make checks payable to United Way) $20 per player to register.

Ride will go up to Pine Mountain, Warm Springs, coming back through Shiloh and ending back at the Pratt and Whitney Pavilion.
