Committed won the second season of "The Sing-Off" Monday night on NBC. Street Corner Symphony placed second. The Backbeats and Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town also competed in the finale.
Committed is an all-male gospel group from Huntsville, Ala. The group gets $100,000 and a Sony recording contract.

***
When the show kicks off, all four groups perform "Put a Little Love in Your Heart." Then, Committed and Boyz II Men perform "Motownphilly" together. Yes, I'm singing along. Boyz II Men has a holiday gig at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, if you're interested.
Next, The Backbeats pair with Sara Bareilles and sing "King of Anything." We learn Sara performed with the a cappella group at UCLA. Some Backbeats singers belong to that group.
Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town to team with...Nicole Scherzinger? Yes, it's happening. They sing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."
Finally, Ben Folds pairs with Street Corner Symphony to perform "Gone." Host Nick Lachey follows the performance with a Ben Folds impression, glasses and all. Priceless.
Sheryl Crow is in the house to perform "Long Road Home" with The Backbeats, Street Corner Symphony and Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town.
Looks like the first hour of the show will be all special guests. Neil Diamond performs "Ain't No Sunshine" with Street Corner Symphony and Committed.
Nick Lachey performs! Come on, you knew it would happen. He joins all four groups to sing "What Christmas Means to Me." Yes, fake snow is involved. Would you expect anything less? As if things couldn't get any cheerier, we get footage of the groups volunteering.
OMG. OMG. OMG. The Backbeats cover Katy Perry's "Firework" and I'm in heaven. "You're bringing the emotional content to the song each time," Ben Folds says. Nicole gives us an "a cappella sundae" metaphor. Sigh. I'm going to miss this show sooo much.
Then, the guys from Committed cover Michael Jackson's "Hold My Hand." The judges love it.
Next cover? Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town perform "Love Train." Once again, everybody goes crazy.
Finally, Street Corner Symphony performs Coldplay's "Fix You." The other three groups join them on stage. So much emotion in one place. I love it.
RESULTS TIME! Note: It's 9:34 p.m.
Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town get eliminated. Jerry calls the show a "wonderful, wonderful experience."
The Backbeats get eliminated.
So the final two = Committed and Street Corner Symphony.
COMMITTED WINS!
