High school football: Indoor all-star game's Georgia roster released; Alabama roster likely to come out Thursday

cwhite@ledger-enqurier.comFebruary 23, 2011

I managed to get my hands on at least the Georgia rosters for the upcoming Georgia vs. Alabama Indoor Football Classic.

The game pits some of the best Chattahoochee Valley high school football players from Alabama and Georgia in an indoor-football-rules game. The annual game, put together by the Columbus Lions, will be played March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center. Jordan's Dave Nurnberg will coach the Georgia team and Russell County's Tripp Henderson will coach the Alabama squad.

The Alabama roster is expected to be finalized Thursday and sent out by the end of the day, according to Lions GM Jeff Gonos. I'll post it as soon as I get it.
