AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn added its first commitment since last months signing day when linebacker Cassanova McKinzy of Woodlawn (Ala.) High announced hell play for the Tigers on Thursday.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound McKinzy had offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State and more. As a junior at Woodlawn, McKinzy had 123 tackles, 19 tackles for a loss and seven sacks. He is Auburns second commitment for 2012, joining offensive lineman Michael Flint of Oxford, Ala.
