Still looking for something to do with the kids this summer?
Check out the Kids Camp and Summer Fun Fair this Saturday at the Columbus Civic Center, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Camp directors from across the Chattahoochee Valley will be at the fair to share information and answer questions about their summer programs.
There will also be several free activities for kids during the fair, including face painting, crafts, Wii games, street hockey and other games.
The Columbus Lions Youth Football League will play in the main arena of the center and fair attendees are invited to watch.
Kids attending the fair can also sign-up to win a private skate party at the new Columbus Ice Rink for their school. The public school with the most students at the fair will receive a two-hour skate party, complete with free admission and free skate rentals for students and reduced skating prices for parents.
The fair is being sponsored by MuscogeeMoms.com and the local parenting magazine, Hoo Knows: Family & Kids of the Chattachoocee Valley.
Admission to the fair is free, but organizers are asking for a $2 donation per adult for the local Partners in Education program.
