The 74th Cotton Pickin Fair is May 7-8 on the old Gay Family Farmstead, first settled in 1828. Old farm structures dating from 1891-1920 become the backdrop for the arts and crafts fair.
The Cotton Pickin Fair in Gay, Ga., is a shopping, dining and entertainment experience for the whole family.
Top artisans will bring their work to the grounds of the Gay Family Farm. There will be pottery, weaving, sculpture, woodcarving, painting, jewelry, wearable art and antiques.
A variety of Southern foods will be available for sale. Entertainment include musicians, folk dancers, puppets and magicians.
The fair is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.
Tickets are $7, $3 for children ages 7-12, free for children 6 and younger.
