Treat mom to a special brunch at Auburn's Ariccia Trattoria & Bar’s on Sunday (May 8). The Tim Chambliss Jazz Trio will perform while mom treats herself to gourmet offerings at the buffet. Three seatings are available: 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. It costs $34 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 334-844-5140.
Buffet options include fresh salads, an antipasti station, Mustard-Glazed Pork Loin, Smoked Gouda, and Opal Basil Chimichuri; Salmon Wellington with a Truffle Cream, Charleston-Style Shrimp and Grits, a carving station featuring Rack of Lamb with Mint Infused Red Wine Sauce, Roasted Organic Chicken with Summer Chutney and Preserves, and Beef Tenderloin with Oreganata. If breakfast is her favorite, she can indulge in Farmhouse Benedict with Cornbread, Country Ham and Red Pepper Hollandaise or visit the omelet station to create her own personal masterpiece.
Children are invited to participate in the restaurant's Kid’s Corner where they can get creative with arts and crafts and burn off energy while Mom relaxes. Ariccia Italian Trattoria & Bar is located in The Hotel at Auburn University, 241 S. College Street in Auburn.
