Auburn football: Clemson game set for national TV

AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn’s football game against Clemson on Sept. 17 will start at noon and be televised nationally by ABC.

The Tigers open at home against Utah State and Mississippi State before traveling to Death Valley for their first road contest.

It is Auburn’s first game at Clemson Memorial Stadium since 1970. Auburn won last year’s game against Clemson 27-24 in overtime at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The teams will also meet in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

The only other game time set on the Tigers’ schedule is an Oct. 22 visit to LSU. Kickoff for that game is 8 p.m.
