AUBURN, Ala. -- Eleven more Auburn signees are enrolled for the summer term, which began Thursday and runs through the beginning of August.
In that group is five-star quarterback Kiehl Frazier, five-star athlete Kris Frost and four-star defensive tackle Gabe Wright of Carver High.
That makes 14 members of the 2011 signing class that are now enrolled in school. Center Reese Dimsukes, guard Thomas OReilly and cornerback Jonathan Rose enrolled in the winter in order to go through spring practice.
The other eight summer enrollees are athlete Quan Bray (Troup County), wide receiver Sammie Coates, safety Erique Florence, linebacker Chris Landrum, defensive lineman Jabrian Niles, offensive lineman Gregory Robinson, defensive lineman Devaunte Sigler and cornerback Jermaine Whitehead.
Players arent allowed to work with coaches on the practice field until August, but they can go through summer workouts, an important step if they are to compete for playing time on Auburns young squad next year.
The fact of the matter is were going to have to play a lot of true freshmen this coming year, Auburn head coach Gene Chizik said during spring drills. Thats where were at.
