Those looking for a new job or wishing to enhance their career through more education might head to Fort Benning next Thursday.
CivilianJobs.com is holding a career expo 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Benning Conference Center (formerly the Benning Club), Bldg. 128 on Morrison Avenue.
The event is geared primarily toward military people, including retirees, veterans, those leaving the service and family members, according to Vicki Washington, director of job fair operations with CivilianJobs.com.
Those attending should pre-register, if possible, on the web site, organizers said. Those without a military decal on their vehicle must stop and check in at a post security checkpoint, with a valid ID, vehicle registration and proof of insurance handy.
