On Thursday (June 16), Executive Chef Andrew Litherland and Chef de Cuisine Miguel Figueroa, of Auburn Hotel's Ariccia Trattoria & Bar, will compete at the restaurant's second annual "Battle of the Chefs" culinary competition.

The competition, from June 16 to July 7, will feature three-course prix fixe menus that will be created each Thursday based on the chefs’ buys at the Farmer’s Market. The price of the dinner is $34 per person, and each menu will be available for one week. Diners can vote for their favorite chef’s menus on the Ariccia Facebook page each week. The chef who receives the most votes, will be declared this year’s winner. For reservations or more information, call (334) 844-5140.

Each week, the chefs will create an appetizer and entrée. The dessert course for both menus will be created by Pastry Chef Adelle Bonilla. Guests will have the option to choose either chef’s menu. Each diner will be entered into a drawing to win a dinner party, prepared by one of the chefs, for six at the winner's home.
