Former Brookstone golfer Robert Mize leads a trio of golfers at 3-under 68 halfway through the first round of the 82nd Southeastern Amateur.
Mize, who won the Georgia High School Association Class A individual state championship in early May, had the lead at 4 under before a bogey 5 on the par-4 18th hole.
He shares the early lead with Seth Reeves of Duluth, Ga., and Alex Rowland of Houston, Miss.
