A tractor-trailer truck crashed into the 13th Street Bar-B-Que of Ladonia restaurant this afternoon.
The accident occurred around noon. Restaurant owner Gary Tamor said the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle as it swerved on U.S. Highway 80 in Phenix City. The truck, he said, jackknifed and hit a screened-in dining room.
"Families were in there eating," Tamor said. "Fortunately, nobody was hurt."
This is the second time a truck has struck the building. It happened two years ago on Christmas but nobody was in the business.
