Letter to the Editor: Fort Benning community contributes almost $250K to Army Emergency Relief

On behalf of the board of managers of Army Emergency Relief, thank you very much for the outstanding contribution of $249,550 which we have received from Fort Benning for the 2011 campaign. The annual campaign not only provides the opportunity for Soldiers to contribute to their fellow Soldiers but it also creates a greater awareness of the many ways Army Emergency Relief can provide financial assistance to Soldiers and Families.

The excellent efforts of your campaign organizers and the emphasis placed upon this year’s campaign by your leadership is very much appreciated. Thank you very much for your dedicated support to Army Emergency Relief and many thanks for all that you do every day for our Soldiers and Families.
