Youre back in town for the holidays and decide to hit the bars for some post-turkey partying.
But while youve been away, some of your old hangouts seemed to have changed.
Heres a quick guide to navigating some of the revamped hot spots in Columbus and the Valley:
Bootleggers
1039 Broadway: This country western bar replaced Daileys earlier this year. It features a mix of modern country acts and an attitude that resembles that of Wild Bills in Atlanta. For more info, visit the bars Facebook page.
MixUltra
1107 Broadway: Watch DJs mix music and video at this non-smoking dance club. It recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and added a new Thai/Asian fusion menu and a new drink menu. For more info or to reserve a VIP table, call 706-221-2112.
Illusions
6499 Veterans Parkway: This two-level club on Veterans Parkway (formerly H20 and Muldoons) features the largest dance floor in Columbus. Expect lots of 70s, 80s and 90s music during Happy Hour and more current music after 10 p.m. For more information, visit the bars Facebook page.
Duffys
4475 Warm Springs Road: This down-to-earth bar used to be the Shanty Shack, but got a new coat of green paint and a new name in July. It features live entertainment on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For more information call 706-507-3418.
