Recap: Bethune-Cookman vs. TX A&M-CC

Adrian Coleman had 16 points and nine rebounds Thursday and Bethune-Cookman snapped a four-game losing streak with a 61-52 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Kevin Dukes and Anthony Breeze added nine points apiece for the Wildcats (4-9), who bounced back from consecutive losses to UCF, Baylor, St. Mary's and Stanford.

Chris Hawkins-Mast scored 15 points to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (1-9) and James King had 10. The Islanders have lost seven games in a row since their last win November 22 over Utah State.

Thursday's game was part of the Las Vegas Classic.

Hawkins-Mast's three-pointer gave Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a 3-0 lead and the Islanders didn't trail until late in the first half, when Breeze's three-point play put Bethune-Cookman ahead 28-26.

After the Wildcats carried a 30-28 lead into the break, Ricky Johnson opened the second half with a three-pointer and they remained in the lead the rest of the way.
