Olek Czyz and Dario Hunt both scored 15 points as they helped lead the Nevada Wolf Pack to a 78-60 win over the University of Portland Pilots in non-conference play at the Lawlor Events Center.

Hunt, who made good on 7-of-9 shots from the floor for the Pack (9-3), also cleared a game-high 11 rebounds as they won their sixth game in a row. Jerry Evans added 11 points and Malik Story 10 in the triumph.

The Pilots (3-10) were paced by Kevin Bailey with 15 points and Tim Douglas with 12 in a sixth straight setback.

With 6:30 remaining in the first half the Wolf Pack held a commanding 37-10 advantage before posting a 46-26 edge at the break thanks to 51.7 percent shooting from the floor and 10-of-11 at the free-throw line.

In the second half Portland was able to close the gap to single digits at 53-44 with 10:29 remaining, but the visitors simply ran out of gas and had to accept the 18-point loss.

Nevada was charged with 19 turnovers, but that was still better than the 24 miscues committed by the Pilots.
