A masked gunman confronted two workers leaving Buffalo Wild Wings at 5555 Whittlesey Blvd. early Saturday, forced them back into the restaurant and robbed it, Columbus police said.

Investigators said the employees had closed up and were headed home about 3:30 a.m. when the man armed with a revolver stopped them in the parking lot and made them go back in. To conceal his face, the man wore a knit cap, sunglasses and a bandana over his nose and mouth, police said.

He got money from the day’s receipts and fled.

Witnesses said he was black and slender, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a dark shirt.

No one was injured in the incident, officers said.
