Recap: Hawaii vs. Clemson

Zane Johnson erupted for 27 points behind six- three-pointers, leading Hawaii past Clemson, 75-68, in the fifth-place game of the Diamond Head Classic at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Vander Joaquim totaled 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Rainbow Warriors (7-5), who have won five of six, including a victory over nationally-ranked Xavier on Saturday.

Andre Young and Devin Booker scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, for the Tigers (7-6), who were fresh off Friday's overtime win over Southern Illinois.

Clemson made 45 percent of its shots in the first half to take a 34-31 lead into the break, but Hawaii responded by making 60 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes.

The Warriors also made 10-of-11 free throws in the second half to come away victorious.
