Cathy Williams will remain the chair of the Muscogee County School Board and Rob Varner will remain as  vice chair.

The votes were taken at a board meeting tonight.

The vote to re-elect Williams was 6-3. The vote to re-elect Varner was 8-1.

The board, by an 8-1 vote, also kept the law firm of Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis and Rothschild as parliamentarian.
