4 Columbus schools honored for performance on state assessments

Four schools in the Muscogee County School District were among the more than 300 in Georgia earning awards for student achievement from the Governor's Office of Student Achievement.

Under the Single Statewide Accountability System, Britt David Magnet, Early College Academy and Columbus High School earned the Platinum Award for high performance on state assessments.

Veterans Memorial won the gold award for greatest gains.

Early College Academy also earned the silver award for greatest gains.
