Columbus Cottonmouths want teddy bears tonight

The Columbus Cottonmouths are asking fans to bring a Teddy Bear or another kind of stuffed toy animal to the game tonight.

The animals will be collected and given to children who have been involved in traumatic incidents.

Police and fire department personnel will be honored by the team.

The game against Louisiana in the Columbus Civic Center begins at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's game, also against Louisiana, will begin at a special time of 6 p.m. because of a midget wrestling show that will follow the game.

The Cottonmouths have won three of their last four contests.
