Wanted for killing his child’s mother Thursday night in Port Royal, S.C., Leo DeAndre Scott today is believed to be in the Columbus area, where authorities are on the hunt for the 26-year-old who used to live here.
Port Royal police report they were called about 9 p.m. to a shooting and found Scott’s estranged girlfriend shot in the head. Her car and the couple’s 3-year-old child, Jayden Scott, were missing, authorities said.
Columbus police say they have found the child unharmed and recovered the car, but still are searching for Scott. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
