Hello? Bueller? Anyone hear that Herman Cain endorsed Newt Gingrich for the presidency of the United States?
Nope? We here at PP&B aren't surprised. You can read the story about the endorsementhere, if you still care what Cain thinks.
Remember the days leading up to Cain's formal announcement that he'd be dropping out of the race? Crowds of people gathered to hear what the former pizza mogul said.
Now Cain is little more than a paragraph on a Wikipedia page. Sure, he said he'd throw his support behind someone but he said that when people still cared about him. Cain waited too long to endorse a candidate, and his voice likely will play little to no roll in the Florida primary.
By the way, how are the polls looking in the Sunshine State? According to the good folks at fivethirtyeight.com, Romney had a 95 percent chance of winning the state as of 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. The primary is in two days as of this writing.
Gingrich, and Cain, have some serious work to do.
