A 21-year-old woman charged Wednesday with burglary was caught with a handbag full of doorknobs, Columbus police said.

Lakendra Hood faces two counts of burglary and one count of possession of tools during the commission of a crime, reports state.

According to police, Hood recently had been seen on Lee Street with a handbag full of doorknobs and hand tools. On Wednesday, someone called 911 and gave authorities a description of a woman breaking into a Cusseta Road apartment.

Police say they found Hood at the Cusseta Road apartment. Hood then led officers to a Clover Avenue home, where she admitted to taking the doorknobs.
