Super Bowl calls for nacho bar, Mojito Jell-O Shots

Leave it to Food & Wine magazine to come up with a sophisticated Jello-O shot. These Michael Symon Mojito Jell-O Shots are sure to have your Super Bowl party guests feeling fine even if the dreaded Patriots are ahead. (Not that that will happen, of course!)

The perfect food to accompany your Mojito Jell-O Shots? Nachos! For football viewing parties, I like to set up a self-serve nacho bar where each football fan can create his or her own perfect plate of nachos. How you like your nachos is a personal choice and giving everyone his own plate causes less mess.

I like to offer two meat choices, usually ground turkey and shredded chicken, but you could use ground beef it you want. For vegetarians, you could make ground soy patties (faux "meat") but I just offer plenty of black beans. Below are my favorite nacho bar fixings. What are your favorite toppings?

Ground or shredded meat

Black beans

Chopped onions

Chopped tomatoes

Shredded lettuce

Shredded cheddar cheese

Sliced black olives

Sliced jalapenos

Sour cream

Salsa

Melted cheese sauce (keep it warm by serving it in the slow cooker)

Guacamole

Fresh cilantro
