Ellie Williams wins Troup County spelling bee

 Eighth grader Ellie Williams from West Side Magnet School spelled “sensibility” correctly to win the Troup County School System spelling bee. 

 

According to a press release, Williams will go on to compete in the district spelling bee  in Perry, Georgia on February 25. 

 

Jordan Bradley from Rosemont Elementary School came in second and will serve as the alternate should Williams not be able to participate.

 

The Muscogee County spelling bee is scheduled for Feb. 8.
