Good morning, Snakes fans...

Ya'all have to forgive my absence, but I've been up to my neck in Legends and soldiers...haha. Hope you liked my story this morning. Another one coming tomorrow on Ft. Benning's brand new hockey team. Back-to-back stories on the heels of the Hall of Fame ones are one more step in convincing me I'm way too old for this...haha.

In addition to looking forward to reuniting with SO many of the '04-'05 Snakes that I remember so fondly, Frankie Ouellette (he gets his own mention) and the other "older" Legends (ouch), I'm really looking forward to the Snake Pit being packed with soldiers on Saturday. Talked to several of the players for tomorrow's story and they're really excited too!

Greg Beller left for a very, very brief stay with SC of the ECHL. Rumors swirling about it, but I'd rather check with Jerome and give ya'all the complete lowdown. Greg is on his way here or may already be back.

Also hearing that Levi Lind could be headed back this way. As Jerome likes to say "it's all good" news about Levi, as long as Sam Bowles is on the shelf. But when Sammy is ready to come back, it's another gutwrenching decision for the boss.
