Nevada's Heath Morrison named national school superintendent of year

Heath Morrison of Washoe County in Nevada was named this week as national school superintendent of the year by the American Association of School Administrators.

Larry DiChiara of Phenix City Schools was a candidate after being named as Alabama's top superintendent.

The other three finalists with Morrison were Diane L. Frost of Asheboro, N.C., Loraine Lange of Roanoke, Va. and Susan Smith Bunting of Selbyville, Del.
