Someone stole more than $1,000 worth of copper from an Amos Street home sometime this month, Columbus police said.

The theft happened between Feb. 8 and Feb. 15, though it wasn’t reported to police until Monday. The suspect or suspects broke a window in the vacant home to enter the house. Once inside, they took a condensing coil, copper wire and hand tools. The total value of the items stolen is $1,800, reports state.

The thieves then left through the front door, police said.

Reports list no suspect description. There have been no arrests.
