School board approves name change for Carver High magnet

February 21, 2012

The Muscogee County School Board approved a name change tonight for the magnet program at Carver High School.

The magnet program currently known as IMST (Integrated Math/Science/Technology) will become STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

"It better identifies all the components of what we are offering," Carver Principal Chris Lindsey said.
