AUBURN, Ala. -- Jimmy Hutchinson, the nation’s top-ranked punter in the class of 2013, has committed to Auburn, bringing the Tigers’ list of 2013 commitments to three.

“Committed to Auburn University to play football! #WarEagle” Hutchinson tweeted Tuesday.

Hutchinson, a 6-foot-2, 175-pounder who punts and kicks for Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Ga., is rated as the No. 1 punter in the country by Chris Sailer and Kohl’s Kicking Academy, two of the leading websites for ranking punters and kickers.

As a junior at Harrison, Hutchinson averaged 37.0 yards per punt on 43 kicks and buried 15 of his punts inside the 20-yard line.

Linebacker Trey Johnson of Central Gwinnett High in Lawrenceville and defensive lineman Dee Liner of Muscle Shoals, Ala. are the Tigers’ other two commitments.
