Ansley Lynn of Glenwood School won first place in the junior high biological science category at the Alabama Independent School Association Science Fair.
She was the only local student to place in a category.
The fair was held March 1 at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala.
The middle school champion was Lee-Scott Academy. The high school champion was Morgan Academy.
